Art Sims, affectionately known as "Chat Daddy" is the creat executive producer and host of The Real Chat Daddy Show, a nightly live digital broadcast (Monday through Wednesday) that highlights local and national news, COVID-19 statistics, health & wellness, lifestyle stories, relationship advice, and celebrity news.
Sims was also the creator, executive producer, and host of the highly successful Real Talk, Real People with Chat Daddy, a magazine-style radio show heard globally on
WVON 1690am from 2015 until 2020.
Sims is a familiar and welcomed voice in many diverse communities in Chicago and around the world. Known for humor, quick wit, charming conversation, and amiable personality, "Chat Daddy" has traveled both nationally and internationally, providing inspirational, educational and vital information on the development and maintenance of positive, sustainable relationships.
Sims is a 2019 Fellow and Ambassador for Disability Lead that envisions a Chicago region where people with disabilities lead with power and influence for full participation and equal opportunity. In 2009, he was recognized as a social dynamo by Monarch Magazine as one of Chicago movers and shakers in the media world, and he was also inducted into the second edition of Who's Who in Black Chicago. Chat Daddy is the recipient of numerous awards and honors for his commitment to foster community cultural development.
